In early 2012 she got pregnant with Hernandez’s child. On 6th November 2012, Shayanna was blessed with a daughter, Avielle Janelle Hernandez.
The same month they got engaged and Hernandez bought a house worth $1.3 million in North Attenborough, in Massachusetts. They even decided to tie the knot in 2014 but the day never came as later Hernandez faced several legal issues in his professional life and ultimately found guilty with first degree murder. He was put under life imprisonment for Odin Lloyd’s murder on 15 April, 2015.
At that time, Odin was in a relationship with Jenkins’s sister Shaneah Jenkins.
On 19 April, 2017, Hernandez strangled himself to death by hanging himself with a bed sheet in his cell.
When Hernandez was accused of the murder, Jenkins stood by his side and continued to support him. This had led to weakening of bonds between Shayanna and her sister. There are still no signs of their reconciliation.
